Dampeer fills new role as Director of Airline Relations to scale partnerships
CARLSBAD, CALIF., FEBRUARY 15, 2022 — Airspace, a leading global provider of time-critical logistics, today announced the addition of commercial airline industry veteran, Keysha Dampeer, as the company’s new Director of Airline Relations. The creation of this new role strengthens Airspace’s market leadership, and Dampeer’s vast experience will be matched by the company’s increased focus on airline partnerships and customer service.
Dampeer joins Airspace after 24 years with Southwest Airlines, where she was the National Account Manager for the airline’s West Region. Dampeer managed relationships with customers, identified new development opportunities to support customer retention, oversaw sales strategies, and conducted business reviews. She holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services from the University of Phoenix.
"We are excited to welcome Keysha to our team at Airspace. Her vast experience in the industry will help us to maximize our airline partnerships and ultimately better serve our customers,” said Ben Kozy, Chief Operating Officer of Airspace. “With our technology, our operations team, and our driver network already differentiating us within the time-critical space, we feel that now is the perfect time to take our airline partnerships to the next level."
At Airspace, Dampeer will serve as a strategic advisor and strengthen Airspace’s growing network of airline partnerships as part of the company’s operations team. With the goal of designing effective solutions, Dampeer will also develop new success measures, enhance processes to improve Airspace’s offerings, and build on the trusted foundation of longstanding partnerships.
“I'm excited to be embarking on this new journey as the Director of Airline Relations because it's rooted in my passion for fostering successful partnerships. That is a crucial element in supporting the operations team and ultimately providing our customers with the service we are known for at Airspace,” said Dampeer.
